Pegasus Group are a leading development consultancy; mainly providing planning, design, environmental, economics and heritage services within the development industry, they operate across the entire country.
When you’re such a big company it’s easy for your brand to become disjointed, and this is exactly what Pegasus Group were experiencing. Their staff weren’t engaged, their brand was becoming inconsistent and outdated, and their customer journey was getting confusing.
That’s why they needed Orb. We were given the mammoth task of delving into their world and developing their brand and relaunching it into something that is modern, clear and compelling for both staff and clients alike. This would then need to be rolled out across their communications including a new website.
Our first step was in-depth research. We ran focus groups, workshops, surveys and interviews to gather insights from both their staff and clients. This helped us uncover what really made Pegasus Group special.
A clear theme of expertise and dedication emerged, and this provided the building blocks for the new brand. The new strategy was built on a proposition of ‘Expertly Done” which summed up their approach, culture and ultimately, their promise to clients. This was then brought to life in a new visual identity that injected more life and personality into the brand.
A new brand is no good unless you use it properly. We worked closely with their teams to design and build a responsive new website as well as other brand communications that would provide a platform to shout about everything they do.
To end the 18-month project we launched the brand at a huge event with over 300 staff attending. This was vital for onboarding staff and ensuring everyone understood the new brand and what it means for them. We also created a corporate video designed to be not so corporate, and we ran several engagement activities that embedded the brand in a fun way.
